oh, the joy of being busy. i feel like i only ever have time these days to eat, sleep, and do homework. and on this particular saturday; walk for parkinson's disease in the morning, and a party at night.
there is reason why we chose parkinson's, my dad was diagnosed about last five years ago.
my sister is the one who got my family aware that there even was a walk for parkinson's disease. she has a coworker who's dad also has parkinson's, and they decided they wanted to make a team, raise money, and walk. they've raised over $3,000, which i find is very impressive!
so today, i, as well as my whole family, will be walking for parkinson's disease. though it's not deadly, it is really hard to watch someone you love have to deal with it. i would love to live to have a cure found.
is anyone doing anything particularly special this weekend?
