nights wild and hazy

so, i have returned home, and after having spent the last 5 hours going through magazines, cutting out pictures of my favorite outfits, shoes and accesories, i'm sorry to say i'm now craving a good day of shopping. the sad part is, i am awfully broke. the good news is, i've come up with a few things to talk about!
i've always been a fan of wearing something really fancy with something quite casual. i'll never forget having seen in a magazine a lady wearing nice looking sweatpants and high heels! i would never be able to pull this off... (my sweatpants look awful, but oh so comfy!)

for example, voila;

here, we see a beautiful woman in a glamorous outfit. i adore those shoes (though maybe not the color so much...), and that skirt is fantastic. and the shirt... it's average. do you see what i'm getting at? wearing fancy with not fancy. there are a few more on the giuseppe zanotti site, where you can see glamorous combined with every day, and the outcome being perfect.
goodness, am i ever tired. anyways, continuing on!

have you ever heard of pringle of scotland? here's an example of their type of fashion/photography.

what do you think? i personally love it. the fact that the photos are black and white adds so much to it! what say you of the fashion? i also adore it. so much detail, and so many accesories. i wonder sometimes if there's such thing as too many layers... and yes, there are. but if you're good at layering, then it's limitless!

i'm a huge fan of layering, if done well. all i need is a ton of money, and i'm set! i seriously need to get a job. it would help my craving for clothes. especially if i got a job at a clothing store... just being around clothes makes me happy. it's like a drug!

did you know i missed you

i sometimes wonder what some people are thinking when they get dressed in the morning. usually it's these same people who's clothes make me cringe. is a sense of fashion not human nature? can not everyone see when things go and don't go? obviously not.
i like to think i'm one of the people who has a sense of style, especially since one of my dreams is to pursue fashion designing as a career.
if only the population of the world could only wear pretty clothes... is it shallow of me to say that?
it's not exactly that hideous clothes are being created (though hideous clothes are being created...) but more the fact that people don't know how to make their clothes work together.
oh, the dear fashion crimes we see every day on the streets. do they make you cringe?

i find salvation through magazines, going through clothes online... anything to distract me from the awful things i've seen. even though i know i can't have half of what i'm looking at, just knowing it exists and that someone is able to wear it makes me happy.
at one point, i designed my own clothes. it took one disastrous skirt for me to stop for awhile, and i have yet to restart.

and here i go, talking of nothing. situation normal. because you see, i have a secret. the truth is...

i'm shy, and i'm unique. you'll never meet someone quite like me. i don't know how to talk to people, i don't know how to act in a group, i don't listen to advice, i love things i'm supposed to hate. there's something about me that's just not quite right...
but, that's me! live with it.
