hello darlings!
i am home from golf and i am exhausted. i can never finish eighteen holes, but today i played all of them! kind of... i only didn't finish three. which is pretty good for me!
i forgot to tell you about my soccer game last night! it was a bad game. if we'd won, we would've gone to regionals... but i was injured (i pulled my groin at the game on monday, so i was running like a dinosaur on crack.) and i really wasn't playing well. so in the end, we lost 2-1 to t
he best team in our region!
my games are at nine o'clock, which is a very random time. you can't eat dinner before, because that doesn't leave enough time for the food to properly digest, and that leaves you with eating after... and after i get home, shower, and get dressed, it's getting close to midnight.
so, what i've started doing is eating around the four o'clock. not a full meal, just something to last me 'til midnight.
my mom was hungry around the same time that i was, so i made a mini meal for us both.
here, i've made something super simple, but absolutely delicious.
i simpled sliced some onions, cut some tomatoes and put them on top, and added some fresh basil from the garden! for extra taste, i added some salt, oil, and vinegar. absolutely delicious!
here is something even simpler. cape cod chips with hummus. quantity control is very important when trying to be healthy (which should be a goal for everybody!) so i tried to make the portions relatively small.
instead of chips, if you're on a more strict diet, cheese rice crackers also go very well with hummus. or the typical pita!
i hope everyone has had a lovely day so far. i will probably post something else before the day is over!
xxo.
